Tables are are used in many PlanTest windows. All tables are dynamic, generated from the current data, usually filtering and selecting data for a particular purpose. Yet they all share common functions.
The are two key methods to alter the table size and scale.
resize the window - If your table columns are crowded, increase the window width, or float the window for better viewing. This does not change the size of the text on the page.
scale the page - A quick technique is to use the mouse scroll wheel while hovering over the page to scale the page.
Tables can be sorted using up to three columns, each in ascending or descending order.
Ascending or Descending
add more sort columns - You add additional sort columns using the shift key.
Also note that this presentation style uses arrows in the column header to show the sort direction and the columns that are sorted, or can be sorted (up and down gray arrows).
Table rows are associated with an action dependent on the purposes of the table. Table rows represent either steps, tests, or test result details.
Selection of a row will update the map to the map views defined in the current Workflow. It also updates the Test Results window and page showing data and any prior decision history for the step, including analytic test results and messages if there are any.
Depending on the test, rows are associated with fabric features ( control, boundaries, connecting lines, points, marks, lots) or analysis graphics. If AutoZoom is enabled on the map, selection of a row in the table will pan and zoom to the feature in the main or inset map ( read more... ). Settings for Map Integration will also determine what actions will occur ( read more... ).
