Map Theme Control

Map themes and views are referenced in Workflows to show what is needed for specific workflow steps. However, you can also choose a theme or specific view manually. This is useful during investigation - to get a different set of information than given by the workflow symbology.

Basic Use

Themes can be selected from the list shown in the Theme comboBox drop-down list. Both themes and views are in the list, with themes sorted to the top.

  1. click the Map Theme combo box to open the list of available themes and views.
  2. click the item on the list you want to apply.
  3. The map will update symbology and labeling to the view or theme.

Tip: You can combine selections of views as you like, but only one view per map layer.

Note: Themes and views will have been created by Seaconis, your site, or by you, and should have meaningful names, like "Reference Marks Theme". When selected, all views in the theme will be applied to the Main and Inset maps.
