The Graphics Controls provide a quick and understandable way to investigate complex analytic test results. Each graphic is given a, hopefully, meaningful name that usually correlates to a row in the test results table, but is easier to use. As with the Fabric controls, you can select graphics one-by-one, or in combinations of multiple graphics.
For example, these graphics depict the datum line of a survey, and the shortest distance from control points to any boundary line of the survey.

Some analytic tests have complicated analytic results that require graphics to make the result easier to understand. Analysis graphics were introduced at version 3.1, and previously developed tests may not have been updated to include graphics.
Some graphics overlie fabric features. They may be a path created by a series of fabric lines, a polygon representing the outer boundary of a collection of parcels.
Some graphics are their own constructs. They may be a line showing distance to a nearby parcel boundary, a polygon representing a clipped fabric parcel, or a calculate point.
They are often associated with specific records in the test results. If so, selection of the table record will navigate to the feature on the map.
The Graphics Window presents a list of the analytic graphics that overlie the map. These are specific to analytic tests. The radio button and checkbox controls allow you to select what graphics are active and visible in the map. See detailed information by selecting the topics in the table below.
