Joins Tool

The joins tool quickly shows the connections between a plan and the fabric, or between any two plans. Use of the tool makes it obvious where plans share common points. This is often used to find mistakes in fabric creation, as joining plans at their common points can be difficult.

Basic Use

Plan to Fabric

1. On the toolbar, click to set mode.
2. In the plan list, click on any to show just that plan.
3. click to activate the joins tool.
4. The map will change to point and line graphics with common points colored red.
5. click and drag the plan graphic to show dashed red lines between the plan points and the stationary fabric.
6. click to deactivate the joins tool.

Between Plans

1. On the toolbar, click to set mode.
2. In the plan list, click any number of 's to show selected plans.
3. click to activate the joins tool.
4. The map will change to point and line graphics with common points colored red.
5. click and drag the plan graphic to show dashed red lines between the plan points and the stationary fabric.
6. click to deactivate the joins tool.
