Next Error

This is a quick way to navigate to errors found by an analytic test. Using the analysis results, this action finds the next error record, select it, and scrolls the table to bring the row into view. It is a loop, so it returns to the first error after the last.

Basic Use

1. click to scroll the table to the next error.

Detail

The definition of error depends on the analysis and on the type of report.

1. The action button will only be enabled if there are error records in the table.
2. In the Test Results window, the error is specific to the associated analytic test for a step.
3. In the Compare Versions Report window, an error is defined as disagreement in the decisions of a prior examination and the current examination.

Tip: If you have Auto Zoom set for the map, the next error function selects the next error row, which also navigates the map to show the corresponding feature or graphic.
